MacDent Pro - Practice Management Software 
For die hard MAC loyalists, which means just about every MAC user here is another attempt to develop a MAC based Practice Management System. I understand the advantages that MAC has over PC in some areas. However I don’t believe there is enough market support for a MAC based dental system. Don’t be too quick to trade in your PCs.

Dear Larry,
I know there is enough demand to support one company, but I have sincere doubts whether there is enough demand at this time to support more. In my estimation, an absolute minimum of 360 offices is necessary to fund the initial and continued development and support of a practice managment and clinical application.
MacPractice now supports more than 1300 offices, including 500 dental offices. The remainder are medical and chiropractice which makes it possible to retain 30 employees, including the development team and technical support department.
